Sacred space for remembering
...we bury the dead with dignity and respect; we comfort the living with compassion and concern; and we provide sacred space for remembering.
Catholic cemeteries are a continuation of our Catholic way of life. They offer:
- Blessed and consecrated ground.
- Perpetual care.
- Celebration of Mass on special days.
- A final resting place respectful of the sacredness of the body.
- Unity as believers in the communion of saints.
- Ongoing prayers for the deceased.
- An enduring sign of faith.
- Staff dedicated to serving families at their time of need.
Based on your personal or family preference, Catholic Cemeteries offers you several options to consider as you think about end-of-life plans. Our family service counselors invite you to contact them to make pre-arrangements to ensure that your personal wishes will be carried out.
Among options to consider:
- Traditional ground interment.
- Lawn crypts with pre-set vaults that allow two people (caskets) to share the same vault.
- Mausoleums with couch crypts and interior and exterior crypts for full caskets and cremation niches.
- Cremation with either ground interment or columbarium niches in the mausoleum interior. (Cremation is an acceptable option for Catholics to consider with regulations provided by the U.S. Bishops.)
Looking ahead and pre-arranging end-of-life plans will allow you to express your wishes and make choices that suit your preferences. You can save your family from the stress of making these decisions at the time of your death. Benefits of pre-arrangement include:
- Your preferences carried out.
- Peace of mind for your loved ones.
- Family unity retained.
- Shared decision-making by couples.
- Prices locked in at today’s rates.
- Payment program with no interest charged.

Catholic Cemeteries’ family service counselors consider their roles a ministry to respond to your needs.
We have staff on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist families at your time of need. Family service counselors are available and flexible to meet with you at your convenience to explain burial options and to discuss pre-arrangements.
