Keeping our Catholic Cemeteries Beautiful
and Safe
A Catholic cemetery is a sacred place; it is holy ground. Our commitment is to the perpetual care of our cemeteries out of respect for persons who have died and to provide a peaceful environment for family and friends. The uniform beauty of the entire cemetery is our responsibility— one that we take seriously and one for which we invite the support of persons who visit the cemeteries.
To keep the cemeteries beautiful and to promote a safe environment, we respectfully request your cooperation in meeting the following regulations.
Through these regulations and the work of our dedicated staff, we strive to maintain the grounds efficiently—controlling weeds, fertilizing, and trimming and mowing. We coordinate this maintenance with regularly scheduled clean-ups.
- We take precautionary steps to avoidinjury to our staff and visitors by not allowing breakable containers, wire attached to monuments or other objects that could become caught in a mower or trimmer.
- We remove decorations on a regular schedule to help ensure the best appearance of cemetery lots.We allow decorations to remain as long as they conform to regulations described in this brochure.
- Because the cemeteries are open to the public with thousands of people visiting annually, it is very difficult to control the activities of every visitor. We regret that we cannot guarantee that decorations will be protected from damage or loss.We caution you against leaving any items of great value on your lot.
- Any decorations deemed by management to be in violation of these regulations will be removed and discarded without notice to the owner. Cemetery management assumes no liability to owners for removing and discarding these items.
